The Academy's Computer Graphics Department is committed to providing a solid foundation in good design with emphasis on the skilled operation of industry standard hardware and software used in the graphic arts industry. The program's main focus is on the design and production of print material but also includes an introduction to web page design and multimedia. Classes are kept small in this one-year program to ensure that students receive maximum benefit from the highly concentrated curriculum. Training is provided on both the Mac and PC platforms for: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dimensions, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, QuarkXPress, Macromedia Director, HTML and more. Computer Graphics courses are taught in the practical contexts of problem-solving design considerations and real-life applications.

To address the overwhelming demand for freelancers, the curriculum also stresses the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and studio management. In a single year, there is no better way to master the computer applications required by industry today than through the Academy's Computer Graphics course of study. It is the short route to a long career in a growing field.
