The Entertainment Business Management Program
provides students with management knowledge and skill levels
in the field of entertainment necessary to perform at a professional
level in the business.
The Entertainment Business Management Program provides students
with both a theoretical and application framework in the entertainment
business. The curriculum also provides students with grounding
in solid business management theory as well as practice in the
film, television and music industries recognized throughout
the world. The program is rounded out with general education
curriculum designed to provide entertainment business professionals
with the lifetime skills necessary to be successful in their
chosen field.
Graduates of the Entertainment Business Management Program will
possess the following capabilities and knowledge:
Accurately observe, note and explain observations of events
organize and make presentations.

Establish project goals consistent with organizational goals,
specify, gather, deploy, monitor and direct resources and activities.

Recognize the need of devising questions that will identify
problems, and apply concept and theory to definition and solution
of problems, formulate creative solutions to simple and complex
problems.
Apply personal goal-setting and time management concepts, apply
personal decision-making skills, articulate and personal position
and respect the positions of others, adhere to ethical standards
and understanding and employing current practice standards. |
