This program is designed to train people to
work with Internet technology. Students will be shown a wide
array of internet related technologies from website design and
programming, web-server support and maintenance, to a detailed
look at IP and network/Internet security issues.
During this program, students will cover the information needed
to pursue the following industry certifications:
CompTIA's Network+ (Networking Professional)
CompTIA's i-net (Internet/E-Commerce Professional)
Certified Internet Webmaster: Site Designer
Certified Internet Webmaster: Server Administrator
Certified Internet Webmaster: Internetworking Professional
Certified Internet Webmaster: Security Professional
Certified Internet Webmaster: Master Administrator
Certified Internet Webmaster Certification was created by Prosoft,
and has since been endorsed by the Association of Internet Professionals
(AIP) and the International Webmasters association (IWA). CIW
has both Professional, and Master levels of certification. The
Masters track requires multiple Professional level certifications.
Students will cover the information pertaining to Site Developer,
Server Administrator, Internetworking Professional, and Security
Professional. Upon successful completion of these components
students will become Master CIW Administrator. |
